Vendor Verification
Every vendor profile on SeniorSpace shows a verification badge, and this page explains what it means.
Verified badge
If you see a blue Verified badge on a vendor's profile, it means the individual who created the profile has:
- Submitted identifying information and completed a basic background check through an independent, third-party screening provider.
- Had their SeniorSpace profile reviewed by our team.
The background check includes a national criminal record and sex offender database search.
Verification applies only to the profile owner, not to other performers or team members associated with the profile. If you require additional screening information, please contact the vendor directly.
Unverified badge
If you see a grey Unverified badge on a vendor's profile, it means the profile owner has not completed SeniorSpace's verification process.
This badge is seen on vendors who joined SeniorSpace through community referrals before October 2026, when background checks were not yet required. These vendors can complete the verification process at any time.
Important information about background checks
Background checks are conducted by an independent, third-party provider at the time of verification and are not repeated periodically. Results are based on information submitted by the applicant and may be limited by incomplete or inaccurate information, record availability, reporting systems, and applicable laws.
The basic screening uses national databases and does not include direct county criminal court searches based on an individual's address history.
A Verified badge confirms completion of SeniorSpace's verification process, not the absence of criminal history. It does not guarantee a vendor's safety, qualifications, or suitability, nor does it constitute an endorsement by SeniorSpace.
A background check is just one consideration when selecting a vendor. We encourage communities to review vendor qualifications, experience, and feedback, and to follow their own screening and visitor policies.
