Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is SeniorSpace and who is it for?

+

SeniorSpace is a platform that connects senior living communities with exceptional experiences - from entertainers and musicians to fitness instructors, therapy animals, artists, and speakers. It's the first platform specifically built for this industry, making it easier for communities to discover quality service providers ("vendors") and for vendors to get booked, without endless emails and phone tag.

Is SeniorSpace an agency?

+

No, SeniorSpace is not an agency!

SeniorSpace is a technology platform that connects communities directly with independent vendors. Communities control their booking decisions, and vendors control their availability, pricing, and services.

How does SeniorSpace work?

+

SeniorSpace provides tools for discovery, communication, and booking management. Vendors create profiles to showcase their services and manage booking requests, while communities can search for vendors, review profiles, and manage bookings - all in one place.

Where are you available?

+

We're launching in Colorado, with plans to expand nationwide.

When will my city/state become available?

+

+

We're continuously growing our network and actively targeting vendors across the following categories:

  • Animal therapy
  • Arts & crafts
  • Fitness & movement
  • Music & singing
  • Performance & entertainment
  • Pop-up shops
  • Self-care & beauty
  • Speaking & education
  • Spiritual & faith-based programs

Don't see what you need? Let us know at hello@seniorspace.co - your feedback helps us improve!

What if the vendor I want isn't on SeniorSpace yet?

+

We'd love to know! Invite them to join directly through your SeniorSpace account, or send us their information at hello@seniorspace.co.

How do I pay vendors?

+

At this time, SeniorSpace doesn't process payments. You'll continue to pay vendors directly the same way you do now - via check, ACH, or the preferred payment method for your community.

Each community's profile includes a space to communicate payment instructions to vendors.

What if I have an issue with a vendor?

+

While SeniorSpace facilitates the connection, communities and vendors work directly with each other. If you experience serious issues or a vendor violates our code of conduct, please let us know at hello@seniorspace.co. We take reports seriously and will take appropriate action to maintain quality on the platform.

How much does SeniorSpace cost for communities?

+

Communities pay a monthly membership of $35 to access SeniorSpace. Membership includes access to the vendor marketplace and the full suite of management tools.

Can I cancel anytime?

+

Your membership is month-to-month, so you can cancel anytime - access will continue through the end of your billing cycle. Annual memberships are committed for the full year and run on an annual billing cycle.

For Vendors

What happens after I request to join as a vendor?

+

We're building SeniorSpace thoughtfully, onboarding vendors by category and market fit. After you submit your information, we'll review your services and reach out. We appreciate your interest!

How do communities find my profile?

+

Once your profile is live, you become discoverable to all communities on SeniorSpace. Communities can browse by category and view your full profile to decide if you're a good fit for their residents.

Am I guaranteed bookings by joining SeniorSpace?

+

No. SeniorSpace helps increase your visibility and makes it easier for communities to discover and book you, but bookings are not guaranteed. All booking decisions are made at the community's discretion based on fit, availability, and their residents' needs.

Can I update my profile information anytime?

+

Absolutely! Keeping your information current helps communities find exactly what they need.

What if I need help setting up my profile?

+

We're happy to help! We offer a free 30-minute onboarding call to answer questions and help you get started.

What if I don't have professional photos or videos?

+

Clear, well-lit photos or short videos taken on your phone work just fine!

Because we want to support vendors and help profiles stand out, we offer a low-cost professional photo and video option. Email us at hello@seniorspace.co to learn more.

Is there a fee to join as a vendor?

+

No - we don't charge joining fees! It's free to create a profile and accept booking requests on SeniorSpace. In some cases, we may request a background check to meet community requirements and help build trust across the platform.

Do you take a commission or a percentage of my bookings?

+

We don't take a commission from your bookings.

How do I get paid as a vendor?

+

At this time, SeniorSpace doesn't process payments. Communities pay you directly using their preferred method (check, ACH, credit card, etc.).

Each community's profile includes payment information and instructions, so you know who to invoice, how to submit it, and what to expect. Some communities may ask you to provide standard documentation, like a W-9 or invoice.
