These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and SeniorSpace.co ("SeniorSpace," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of the SeniorSpace website, platform, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information and is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
Additional Policies. The SeniorSpace Code of Conduct, along with any other policies or guidelines we post from time to time (collectively, "Policies"), are incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with all applicable Policies.
SeniorSpace is a marketplace platform designed to help senior living communities discover, connect with, and communicate with independent vendors and volunteers who offer programs, services, and experiences for residents.
SeniorSpace provides tools for discovery, communication, and coordination only. SeniorSpace does not provide services itself and is not a party to any agreement between users of the Platform.
The Platform may be used by the following types of users (collectively, "Users"):
All Users must be at least 18 years of age and able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law.
If you access or use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Communities decide whether to book a Vendor or Volunteer. Vendors and Volunteers decide whether to accept a booking. SeniorSpace does not guarantee bookings, participation, income, or outcomes.
Volunteers may set their own terms regarding compensation, which may include accepting donations or providing services without payment.
Communities may require Vendors or Volunteers to comply with specific guidelines or provide additional information as a condition of participation, including but not limited to background checks, certifications, insurance, or adherence to community-specific policies.
SeniorSpace may facilitate or offer optional ancillary services related to these requirements (such as background checks or administrative tools). SeniorSpace does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any User's qualifications, background, or suitability.
SeniorSpace does not take a percentage of, or otherwise participate in, payments made between Communities and Vendors or Volunteers.
SeniorSpace does not currently process payments for services booked through the Platform.
SeniorSpace may offer optional paid or fee-based ancillary services, such as background checks, professional photography, invoicing tools, or administrative features. Any such services will be clearly disclosed and may be subject to additional terms.
All Users agree to comply with these Terms and the SeniorSpace Code of Conduct. Users must use the Platform in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner.
Discrimination, harassment, abuse, or inappropriate conduct based on race, color, religion, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other characteristic protected by law is strictly prohibited.
Users must comply with all applicable laws and any community-specific guidelines communicated by Communities.
Violations of the Code of Conduct are violations of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of access to the Platform.
Users may create profiles, submit information, and post content on the Platform ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant SeniorSpace a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and use such content solely in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
SeniorSpace reserves the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content that violates these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
You acknowledge that interactions arranged through an online platform involve inherent risks.
SeniorSpace does not conduct comprehensive background checks, supervise services, or guarantee the conduct of Users. Communities, Vendors, and Volunteers are responsible for exercising their own judgment and due diligence.
You assume all risks arising from interactions and services arranged through the Platform, whether online or offline.
SeniorSpace may suspend or terminate access to the Platform, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the safety, integrity, or trust of the Platform, or in response to violations of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
Termination does not relieve Users of obligations incurred prior to termination.
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
SeniorSpace makes no warranties regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or suitability of the Platform or of any services offered by Users.
SeniorSpace does not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeniorSpace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to use of the Platform or interactions between Users.
In no event shall SeniorSpace's total liability exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to SeniorSpace in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
SeniorSpace may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
